Katie spent a good part of this afternoon at the computer working on her math at www.adaptedmind.com.  I'm encouraged that it was unprompted by me and she seemed to be very motivated to finish the lessons and earn the "badges" for accomplishing certain tasks.  She mastered a few subjects including Prime and Composite Numbers, Factoring Review, and Rounding Whole Numbers.  These are some things she had already studied so I'm not sure how much was review and how much was new but it definitely appeared she had some fun with it.  I need to get organized and check to see how their standards match up with VA SOLS.  8/30/2014
